WWE has just filed for a new trademark, applying for ‘The Most Patriotic Show on Television’ which is very likely to be used in reference to the Tribute to the Troops show which airs this evening on the USA Network.
The company is also having to oppose a trademark, from Mudder Technology, a Hong Kong-based company who have applied for the U.S. Trademark of the word ‘Wrestler,’ which they plan to use on cases for smartphones.

Whilst some might find it ironic that WWE, who now no longer refers to its talents as wrestlers are opposing it, the company has requested an extension to file an opposition.
Samoa Joe Comments on Mixed Match Challenge
Samoa Joe has been the latest mixed match challenge competitor to comment on being involved in the new competition. Joe stated that he will now have someone to hold his towel whilst he pummels his opponent.
