Arsenal vs Crystal Palace – Sunday October 27, 16:30
The two London clubs sit one place apart in the Premier League with Arsenal holding onto fifth having picked up one more point than Crystal Palace.
Both teams have started the season in similar fashion, both have four wins from the first nine games as well as two wins in their last five.
They also both lost in their most recent outing, with Palace suffering a 2-0 defeat at home to Manchester City while Arsenal lost 1-0 away to Sheffield United.
The last three games between the sides have produced a full hand, one win, one draw and one loss for both sides.
The most recent being a 3-2 win for Crystal Palace at The Emirates in April 2019.
Depending on Saturday’s results a win for either side could take them into the top four but regardless of that, a win for Arsenal could open the gap between themselves and sixth whereas a win for Roy Hodgson’s men would see them leapfrog Arsenal into fifth.
Norwich City vs Manchester United – Sunday October 27, 16:30
Norwich and Manchester United currently find themselves at the wrong end of the table.
Daniel Farke’s newly-promoted side are sitting in the bottom three and are without a win since their sensational 3-2 turnover of Manchester City.
Meanwhile the reds are currently sitting in fourteenth having suffered their worst start to a season in 33 years.
Both sides have only managed two wins so far this season and are currently on a run of one win in their last five games.
Due to Norwich’s Championship years the last time the two sides faced each other was the 2015/16 season. In May 2016 the two clubs met at Carrow Road and Manchester United walked away with three points, making it six wins from their last eight appearances at the ground.
Whereas earlier on in the season goals from Cameron Jerome and Alex Tettey lead The Canaries to a famous 2-1 win at Old Trafford.
Despite sitting in fourteenth, Manchester United are only five points off fifth placed Arsenal and depending on other results in the league, a win over Norwich could close that gap.
Whereas a win for Norwich could see them climb out of the relegation zone and draw level with Manchester United on points.
Liverpool vs Tottenham Hotspur – Sunday, October 27 2019 – 16:30 – Live on Sky Sports
The last time these two sides met was in the final of the 2019 UEFA Champions League.
Through a Mohamed Salah penalty and a late Divock Origi strike Liverpool ran out 2-0 winners to secure their sixth Champions League title.
Klopp’s side have carried their Champions League winning form into this season and currently sit top of the pile with zero losses, 25 points and are 6 points clear of Manchester City who sit in second place.
Whereas the runners up to last season’s Champions League haven’t started the season so brightly.
Tottenham currently trail the league leaders by 13 points, have picked up three wins, three draws and three losses in the league so far, including a dismal 3-0 loss away at Brighton and have crashed out of the Carabao Cup to League 2 outfit Colchester United, the lowest ranked team in the tournament.
Liverpool came out on top in all three of their meetings with Tottenham in the 2018/19 season, winning 2-1 at both Anfield and Wembley Stadium before going head-to-head in the aforementioned Champions League final.
The last time Tottenham won this fixture was October 2017 when Pochettino’s side came out 4-1 winners at Wembley with goals from Heung-min Son, Dele Alli and a Harry Kane brace.
Since then Liverpool have acquired Virgil van Dijk in defence, Alisson in goal and have conceded as many goals in four games against Tottenham as they did the last time they lost to the North London club.
Depending on the Manchester City result, Liverpool could extend their lead at the top of the table to nine points, whereas a defeat could see the gap shrink to just three points with the two sides playing each other on November 10.
A win for Tottenham would make it two wins in five days in all competitions and could have them level on points with fierce rivals Arsenal before facing Everton, Sheffield United and West Ham in their next three games.
