Tottenham transfer news: Robert Skov wanted by Champions League finalists as Wolves also join chase for Danish winger

Tottenham and Wolves have made contact over potentially signing prolific winger Robert Skov, reports claim.

Last season the Copenhagen attacker netted 32 times in all competitions, with a remarkable return of 30 goals in only 34 league games breaking the Danish Superliga record for most strikes in a single campaign.

Former Spurs defender Stephen Kelly says the club must back Mauricio Pochettino this summer

Watford and West Ham are said to have been watching the Denmark international throughout his astounding campaign, though two of their Premier League rivals are making the initial moves for the starlet.

According to El Desmarque, both Spurs and Wolves have made contact with Copenhagen in order to enquire about the 23-year-old’s availability.

It is reported the Danish side would want in the region of £10million for their talented attacker, which is not a huge fee for a Premier League side to pay.

While Spurs could recruit the services of one Denmark star this summer, they may lose another with doubts remaining over Christian Eriksen’s future.

The playmaker has just one year left on his current contract and talks over a new deal have stalled, leading to rumours of a potential move to Real Madrid or Man United.

Eriksen has also spoken of his desire to leave Spurs for a new challenge after six season in north London

Recent reports suggest Spurs are willing to offer Eriksen a four-year deal with a significant pay rise, which will make him their second highest-paid player behind Harry Kane, in order to keep the former Ajax man at the club.

However, deals for Giovani Lo Celso, the Argentina and Betis star, and Sporting ace Bruno Fernandes have been rumoured, as Mauricio Pochettino eyes a new midfielder to potentially replace Eriksen.
