Tottenham Hotspur transfer news: What squad numbers could Ryan Sessegnon, Giovani Lo Celso, and Paulo Dybala wear?

Tottenham Hotspur are set for a busy transfer deadline day with FOUR possible deals on the cards right now.

Ryan Sessegnon, Giovani Lo Celso and Paulo Dybala could all be confirmed by 5pm, while there is also a chance Youcef Atal will come through the doors at Hotspur way.

Medicals must but done, contracts inked, image rights negotiated, and minor details ironed out.

Sessegnon should join for an initial £25million with Joshua Onomah moving in the opposite direction, Lo Celso’s move is now a loan move to start with and any European qualification will trigger a £40m option to buy.

Dybala’s deal will be the trickiest to do with Juventus partially funding the player’s wage, but Daniel Levy must still work out what to do about the players’ image rights which are held by a third party.

Atal’s deal isn’t far down the line do is possibly on the back burner right now.

Ryan Sessegnon

For now, the most likely number for the left-sided star is number 30.

Sure, it might be high but it was the digit worn by the player when he broke into the first-team at Fulham.

Paulo Dybala

The Juventus ace, appears to have a preference for 21 if you look at his career history.

He’s worn it with Argentina and Juventus fairly regularly but has had 10 at club level for the last two campaigns.

Harry Kane holds this at the moment and is unlikely to give it up but 9, previously held by Vincent Janssen is available and was worn by Dybala at Palermo and Instituto Cordoba and is a possibility.

Giovani Lo Celso

Even though he’s just 23-years-old, the Argentine has had several numbers over the years.

He’s worn 18, 21, 6, 10, and 34 at club level, while having 20 and 14 on the international stage.

Right now he could have 18 or 21 but with Dybala set to nab the latter he could have the digits once worn by Jurgen Klinsmann and Jermain Defoe.

Youcef Atal

With Kieran Trippier out the door, Atal could easily pick up the 2 shirt.

Previously he’s held the number 31, which is available, 24, and 20, while also wearing 4 for his nation.
