An estimated 589,000 jobs were created in the first three months of 2016 – an accomplishment the Obama administration and liberal analysts tout. Just what kinds of jobs were created should have them rethinking that self-praise.

Jobs are jobs right? Not exactly. The food and retail jobs are largely low-wage jobs where average salaries range from $20k to $32k annually. The manufacturing jobs that have steadily been pushed overseas by over-regulation and the highest corporate taxes in the world yield much higher average salaries ($56,244.)
There have been recoveries where jobs did not materialize – so-called jobless recoveries. This year, it looks like the U.S. is experiencing a jobful non-recovery.
