Rangers are to sign Charlton starlet Joe Aribo having beaten Celtic to his signature, reports claim.
The Sun claim Steven Gerrard’s side have won the race for the 22-year-old midfielder, who has been linked with an exit from the Valley for a number of months.

Celtic were battling the Gers for Aribo, who recently helped Charlton win promotion back into the Championship via the League One play-offs, but Rangers moved ahead of their Old Firm rivals after holding talks with the player.
It is understood Aribo will sign a deal at Ibrox worth around £20,000-a-week, which will make him one of Rangers’ highest-earning players.
The move is expected to be finalised this week with Aribo to put pen to paper before Rangers leave for their pre-season training camp in Portugal on Thursday.
Aribo began his career with Staines Town before making the switch to Charlton in 2015.
He debuted for the south London club the following year and quickly established himself as a first-team fixture, before developing into a key player during 2018/19.
Aribo scored 10 goals in 39 games last term to help fire Charlton back into the second tier, and Gerrard will be grateful to add a player of his quality to his squad.
