Ouest-France and 20 Minutes report that Ligue 1 side FC Nantes intend to imminently extend the contract of manager Christian Gourcuff who joined only in August but has Les Canaris sitting in 2nd position.
The 64-year-old, who has presided over FCN obtaining 19 points so far in Ligue 1, is also set to enjoy a change of title from Head Coach to General Manager, which will give him broader power across all elements of the club, including all the youth teams, and more control over transfer policy.
