MASTIC, NY — A man was found seriously injured from a stabbing in Mastic on Wednesday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
The man was found stabbed on Coventry Avenue at around 3:15 p.m., and then he was taken to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries, according to police.
It was not immediately clear where the man was stabbed.

The stabbing comes less than one week after Alex Smith, the younger brother of boxer Joseph Smith, was shot and killed in Mastic Beach.
No arrests have been made.
