Mbappe’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2022, and while the Ligue 1 champions have previously stated Mbappe is not for sale – they could now be put in a very tricky position.
Real Madrid are long-term admirers of the forward, but would not be able to offer the same financial package as PSG.
However, Mbappe wants to test himself in a different league and challenge for further honours, both collectively and individually, paving the way for a big-money move to the Spanish capital in the future.
