Speaking in an interview with L’Obs, French international and PSG attacker Kylian Mbappé explained why he chose not to join Real Madrid at youth level.
“My parents wanted me to begin my career in France, that I received the French education. Because when you go to youth academies, of course it is for football, but you also continue your studies. Going to Spain, even if it was with Zidane, it was still another country, another culture.”
