Kris Jenner Sent Selma Blair Flowers In Support After She ReceivedHer Multiple Sclerosis Diagnosis

Selma Blair shared her multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis with the world through an Instagram post in mid-October. "I am disabled. I fall sometimes. I drop things. My memory is foggy,” she wrote. "And my left side is asking for directions from a broken GPS. But we are doing it." In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, Blair elaborated on the support she's received since sharing her diagnosis. In addition to Marc Jacobs (who has named a bag after Blair), and Amy Schumer (whose father has MS), Blair received flowers from Kris Jenner that Blair joked were "more expensive than her mortgage."

The Kardashian family is known for their love of extravagant flowers, which they often feature in Instagram posts. Kim has used of a sea of rose petals to promote new beauty launches, Kylie has created epic Valentine's Day displays, and Khloé does regular bouquet close-ups. The reason for Kris's kind floral delivery, however, is that she and Blair bonded after the actress portrayed Jenner on 2016's The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic disease that affects the brain and spinal cord, or central nervous system, according to Mayo Clinic. Blair has been experiencing symptoms for years but apparently dealt with the too-common experience of doctors not taking her pain seriously and chalking up symptoms to depression or being a dramatic actress, she told Vanity Fair. So when someone finally took her seriously and sent her to an MRI, which scanned her brain, revealed 20 lesions, and confirmed the MS diagnosis, Blair says she felt relief.

While Blair expressed relatable fear that opening up about her diagnosis would keep her from work, her producer on Another Life, the Netflix series she's currently starring in, told her, "We're going to make this work." Blair's doctors have expressed gratitude to her for shedding light on the condition, as heightened awareness often leads to more funding. She's currently receiving intravenous drug therapy that her doctors are quite hopeful about. And we can all agree with Kris Jenner that Selma Blair deserves all the flowers the Kardashians can buy.
