The vibe was fresh and clean at Jonathan Saunders’ Spring/Summer 08 show. With a sport-chic take on fashion, the designer took a different direction this season.
Jonathan Saunders who started of in print, choose to design sport-luxe pieces that looked effortless chic. According to the show brief “It was important there was an element of easiness and freedom to every piece so that even wearing a floor length evening gown feels effortless.”
The form-fitting silhouettes slightly reminded of the 80s, but the pure white and pastel colours made the collection very now – and wow! Glass blown bangles and bold belts accentuated the waist and female figure. With a bit of black, Jonathan Saunders gave his polo dresses and fine cut skirts an edge touch.
