In an extremely sad news for a familyawaiting the return of the breadwinner, an Indian fisherman has died in Pakistan jail. What is more painful is that the information took three months to reach the family. According to reports, The fisherman from Gujarat died on March 4, but the information reached his family on June 10 after one of theinmates wrote aletter to her from Pakistan where her husband was lodged.
Deva Rama Baraiya (55), a fisherman from Kotada village in Gujarat’s Gir Somnath district was arrested from high seas by Pakistani maritime agencies and put in Karachi jail on February 2, his family members said.
