Everton enter race for Rennes winger Kamaldeen Sulemana

Everton have become the third club to enter the race for young Rennes winger Kamaldeen Sulemana, according to L’Équipe, with the Toffees now competing with Southampton and PSV for the Ghana international’s signing.

The Dutch club had made an offer of €15m, which could potentially rise to €17m with add-ons, while the Saints had put forward a bid worth €20m. Everton’s verbal bid is reportedly set at €19m – although Rennes have set their asking price at €25m, having bought the forward from Nordsjaelland for €15m a year and a half ago. Sulemana’s desire is to leave, although it remains to be seen whether Rennes’ valuation will be met.

All three clubs are now in discussions with the European spot challengers, with another Premier League side in Bournemouth also keeping an eye on Sulemana. Since making the move to France, the wide man has notched six goals and four assists in 47 appearances, finding the net once this campaign.
