Mohamed Salah’s Egypt kick off the Africa Cup of Nations tonight as they eye glory on home soil.

The Liverpool superstar, fresh from scoring in the Reds’ Champions League final triumph, is ready to try and make it a club and country double this summer.

The Egyptians came runners-up in the 2017 tournament, being beaten 2-1 by Cameroon to miss out on the trophy.

But Salah’s side are firm favourites to lift it in this year’s final in Cairo on July 19.

The Group A opener will take place on Friday, June 21 and will kick off at 9pm UK time.
