Concord Cabbie And Car Collide On Pleasant Street: Watch

CONCORD, NH — Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to a crash on Pleasant Street on Thursday.

Around 3 p.m., police and fire dispatch began receiving calls about a crash between a taxi SUV and a Mazda sedan at the intersection with Minot Street. A witness to the crash reported one of the people who was injured was screaming, according to dispatch. One vehicle, the SUV, was also in the middle of the street.

Police arrived first and requested firefighters and EMTs. A few minutes later, a second ambulance was requested. Police reported the driver and a passenger in the taxi were injured, according to scanner chatter.

One person was taken to Concord Hospital around 3:15 p.m. Firefighters used absorption material due to leaks from the SUV.

Two tow trucks were requested to the scene.
