Barcelona midfielder Carles Alena has refused to rule out a move to Real Madrid in the future.
The 22-year-old, who has made 25 LaLiga appearances for Barcelona, is currently on loan at Real Betis.
Luis Figo was the last Barca player to complete a controversial transfer to LaLiga rivals Real Madrid in 2000 – and switching allegiances would not appear to be a problem for Alena.
He told Spanish radio station Cadena Ser: “A lot of things can happen in football, you never know.
“Obviously they are a rival and I have been a Barcelona fan all my life, so it would be tough.

“But I’ve been taught that you never say never because so many things go on in the game.
“But obviously they’re a big rival and I have never been a Madrid fan.”
Alena made his Barcelona debut in November 2016.
After struggling for playing time at the Nou Camp, he joined Real Betis on loan until the end of the season earlier this month.
