On Saturday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Kurt Angle wrestling again in WWE, and said that our Olympic Hero will probably make his long-awaited in-ring return at WrestleMania 34.
“The idea was for [Angle] to do a match, probably at WrestleMania, they didn’t do it at SummerSlam. Obviously the angle that was talked about [Angle vs. Triple H & Stephanie McMahon] they never even touched — Stephanie hasn’t even come back yet. So they’re giving Angle more time go get himself over to do whatever they’re gonna do and start the angle with him, which is good. The longer they establish Kurt without the bullsh*t, the better off he’ll be when he has to do the bullsh*t.
“The answer is if he passes the physical he will wrestle another match at WrestleMania, if he can’t pass a physical he will not. [WWE] won’t mess around with stuff like that.”
