JOLIET — A 34-year-old Joliet man from the 700 block of Cowles Avenue now finds himself back in the Will County Jail for the second time since July. This time, Joliet police had Robert Hildebrant arrested on two counts of domestic battery.
He was taken to the jail at 95 South Chicago Street on Wednesday night.
According to Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English, the following events happened at the Hildebrant family’s home in the 700 block of Cowles:

At 11:20 p.m., the officers responded to the house in the 700 block of Cowles Avenue for a domestic disturbance. Officers learned that Hildebrant was suspected of attacking two men who are in their 20s.
First, Hildebrant pushed a 20-year-old man and that’s when a 25-year-old man attempted to intervene and Hildebrant is suspected of punching this person as well.

Hildebrant continued fighting, punching the 20-year-old in the face multiple times. Robert was on the scene and was placed into custody without incident.
