In March 2018, a Bangladeshi airliner with 71 people on board crashed in Kathmandu which killed 51 people. An investigation by the Nepal government revealed that the pilot’s mental condition wasn’t satisfactory while he was flying the airplane.
S 211 of US-Bangla Airlines was coming to land when it burst into flames. Both the pilots had died in the crash. An investigation has now suggested that the captain of the flight, Abid Sultan lied to the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) about carrying out proper procedures before landing. Infact, Sultan was incessantly smoking during the flight.
The pilot was not only mentally unstable but he had even lost track of the runway. Nepal daily, Kathmandu Post had accessed the report which suggests that Sultan displayed signs of troublesome behaviour. He had not only lit a cigarette before beginning with the plane’s landing process but had also lied about locking down the plane’s gear.Click Here: Crystal Palace Shop
