Milliner, Louis Mariette launches her new diffusion line, Bejewelled. The range is inspired by the enchantments, exoticism and beauty of nature. Louis Mariette made her name after creating the most expensive hat in the world, the ‘Chapeau d’Amour’. It was a dramatic headpiece valued £1.5 million. Her latest diffusion line of head pieces and accessories is designed for the indulgent, modern lady.
The milliner discovered his calling after being appointed to design a 25-piece collection for a Milanese fashion house. He went on to create his own bespoke range and in 2006 he received the Celebration of Life Jewellery Design Award by The Tanzanite Foundation.
The Bejewelled collection includes headbands, tiaras, hatpins, brooches, bracelets, and ?necklaces and all are adorned with signature ?diamante crystal in a ray of colours. Celebrities fans include Sophie Dahl, Jerry Hall, Alek Wek, Isabelle Kristensen, and Jodie Kidd to name but a few. Prices range from £15 – £1,300.
