CONCORD, NH — Concord firefighters extinguished an SUV fire on Fort Eddy Road on Tuesday.
Around 12:15 p.m., fire and rescue teams as well as police were sent to the area just off Interstate 393 and Intervale Road. When firefighters arrived, about four minutes later, they found a Honda Pilot with “heavy fire” coming from its engine compartment, the fire commander said. Everyone, they added, appeared out of the vehicle.
Police blocked off part of the road while directing traffic around the scene.

Firefighters hit the SUV with water and knocked down the fire in about five minutes. They remained at the scene a bit, overhauling the vehicle.
Police ran a check on the vehicle and found out the owner was from Dover.
