OSWEGO, IL — A teen fell asleep at the wheel Monday evening and rear-ended the car in front, which then rear-ended another car, Oswego police said.
The domino effect of rear-endings happened at about 5:12 p.m. at Orchard Road and Route 34.
In a Tuesday blotter, police reported a group of cars were stopped at the light on Orchard Road, approaching Route 34. A 16-year-old Oswego boy, having been driving southbound, fell asleep at the wheel while waiting for the light to change and crashed into a car driven by a 37-year-old man from Dixson.
