Le Parisien report that Ligue 1 side PSG are in talks with their 17-year-old French midfielder Edouard Michut about a possible extension.
Talks between the two parties have been ongoing for a number of weeks now – his profile reminds scouts of Marco Verratti and Andres Iniesta, after a brilliant season with the PSG U17s.
Under contract with the club until 2021 and having already been a part of several 1st team training sessions with Thomas Tuchel, he is being tracked closely by Barcelona, Manchester City, Chelsea, Juventus and Valencia.
However, at the moment, Michut’s intention remains to sign up to the PSG project for longer, with his agent Philippe Lamboley confirming on the phone to the outlet this Monday that talks over an extension are ongoing:
“We will see but we hope to find a contractual agreement in an ambitious sporting project.”
