20 Minutes report that ex-France & PSG manager Laurent Blanc has rejected an offer to become the next manager of Ligue 1 side Nantes.
Blanc was approached on Monday but decided to turn down the opportunity to succeed Christian Gourcuff, who was sacked this morning, after speaking with some individuals who had more experience of working with Les Canaris.
The ex-French international is not convinced by the FCN project – he doesn’t like the idea of taking over a team in the middle of the season without full control over the recruitment policy and preparing the team.
