Speaking in an interview with Canal Plus, PSG Sporting Director Leonardo hailed club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi for his handling of the Super League fiasco this week.

“We are very proud of Nasser. We know the work he has been doing for a long time and it is true that in this moment he had a very important leadership position in terms of this decision. I think that he followed his values and the values of the club. It makes us very proud because he comes out of this as president of the ECA (European Club Association). It is recognition towards the person, with whom you can not only collaborate with now but also in the future because football is in a delicate moment. Everyone is struggling, PSG are going through a tough moment but that was not a reason to break rank. In terms of my relationship with Nasser, I am personally very proud of him.”
