TEWKSBURY, MA — A developer is proposing a four-story, 24-unit apartment building on Main Street in Tewksbury.
Attorney Don Borenstein and Meera Cousens of Civil Design Consultants appeared at a Planning Board on Jan. 8 meeting for the proposed residential apartment building at 1167, 1177, 1187 Main St., part of Tewksbury’s Town Center District. The project will include a total of 62 parking spaces.
Developer L&G Main Street, LLC is seeking site plan approval, a special permit for a multifamily development, and approval for a major land disturbance.

Cousens said that peer reviews of the project have requested minor changes involving construction details and an operational maintenance plan.
The board was complimentary regarding the proposal, with members saying the project looked great and praising revised plans for lighting.

The board declined to provide conditional approval at the Jan. 8 meeting due to the size of the project. The hearing was continued and will be on the board’s Jan. 22 meeting agenda.
