PITTSBURGH, PA — Terming the decision “bittersweet,” WTAE-TV reporter Ashley Zilka will leave the station after Thursday.

Zilka made the announcement on social media.

“As a journalist, I have spent the past 14 years working at different stations across the country,” Zilka said in a post. “From Cincinnati to Minneapolis, every city will hold a special place in my heart, but ending my news career in my hometown, specifically at WTAE, has been the biggest blessing.”
