Now through Sept. 4, residents of Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess and Putnam counties can go online and buy tickets for $47 — which is 50 percent off the price at the gate.

Legoland management said the offer is available online only and will not be available at the park.

Matt Besterman, spokesman for Legoland New York Resort, told Patch that the park is always adding attractions, experiences and Lego models.

That way, “families have something new to enjoy each time they visit,” he said.

“With this offer, there’s never been a better time for residents of the mid-Hudson Valley to take a summer day trip to Legoland New York,” Besterman said.

And Legoland has added features that will help visitors beat the summer heat.

The park, on Memorial Day weekend, opened its Lego City Water Playground, which features waterspouts, water slides and a 318-gallon water bucket that soaks visitors every three minutes.

Splash Battle let you operate a water cannon as you navigate pirate-infested waters. The fun includes your family and friends firing their own cannons back at you.

Also, Rogue Riders lets you “sail the high seas” aboard a racing barrel and steer your way through storms and waterspouts.

Legoland began its 2023 season as a Certified Autism Center.

All resort staff were trained in best practices to serve guests with autism and their families. Every ride has a posted Sensory guide indicating any bright lights, loud sounds or other features that guests might need to plan around.
