Tonight EVOLVE made HISTORY. I made HISTORY. I wrestled in one of the most infamous arenas in the industry, The ECW Arena (which will never not be cool) on the WWE Network in the FIRST EVER independent match streamed live. That is something that can never be taken away from me. The only thing that could make it more special is that it was against my best friend in and out of wrestling, Josh Briggs.
Josh has always been a major advocate of mine… it’s honestly the reason I was afforded so many opportunities in the past year and half. I could never thank him enough.
There’s too many people to thank. My biggest supporter, Evie. My family and friends that believe in this wild dream I’m living. Gabe and Sal for giving so many of us opportunities. WWE for giving us such a huge platform to perform in front of. Big Woody and Wrestling Star Wars for giving me my first match, JC Marxxx and NCW for giving me my first consistent bookings. Thank you Tommy D and Carlos Arenas for my first championship, Jim and Chris from LPW for trusting me in their first main event. My trainers Brain Fury and Ryan Waters, as well as everyone that has helped me along the way.
This is a very emotional day. But… an incredible day. Wrestling has a lot of negativity. It can also be the most positive place when you’re around the right group that have the same aspirations.
That’s how I feel tonight. I’m going to be riding this high for a while… and it’s only the beginning!
