Roberto Firmino is absolutely adored by Liverpool fans for his tenacity and clinical goalscoring ability.
The 27-year-old, signed from Hoffenheim in 2015, has been converted into one of the world’s best centre-forwards by Jurgen Klopp over the past few seasons.
He recently become the first Brazilian to score 50 Premier League goals and, with the No.9 on his back, has turned into a fan favourite on Merseyside.
While chants about Mohamed Salah’s exploits on the wing and ‘Allez, Allez, Allez’ often reverberate around Anfield, there’s an even catchy tune to be heard coming from the Kop.
After putting the ball into the back of the net, Firmino has begun to cup his hand to his ear as if expecting Reds fans to belt out his new tune.
But how does it go?
Well, based on a tune sung by River Plate fans in Argentina, the lyrics are:
There’s something that the Kop want you to know,
The best in the world his name is Bobby Firmino,
Our number nine
Give him the ball and he’ll score every time
Si senor
Give the ball to Bobby and he will score
