Liverpool are set to deny academy starlet Bobby Duncan a loan move away from Anfield.
Recent reports have suggested that the 18-year-old forward is frustrated with a lack of first team opportunities under Jurgen Klopp and is keen to play senior football.
Duncan, who is the cousin of former Reds captain Steven Gerrard, has been the subject of interest from Danish side FC Nordsjaelland and, most recently, Serie A club Fiorentina.
The teenager’s decision to remove all social media tags to Liverpool last week seemed to add weight to the rumours he wanted out of the Merseyside club.

He was also absent from the Under-23s squad for Monday’s 4-2 victory over Southampton, leading to more speculation about his future.
However, it is understood Liverpool will not allow the teenager to leave this season.
Duncan, who moved to the Merseyside club last year for a compensation fee of £200,000 having been with Manchester City since the age of 11, scored 32 goals for Liverpool’s Under-18s side last season, playing anywhere across the front three or just behind as a number ten.
The club now want him spend a full season with Neil Critchley’s Under-23s side to boost his development.
He has already made three appearances in Premier League 2 and the Checkatrade Trophy this month.
Liverpool, it is understood, have no concerns about Duncan’s attitude and have kept the player and his representatives fully informed of their plans for the striker, who does not turn 19 until next June.
