Manchester United have made a perfect start to pre-season ahead of what promises to be an enthralling 2019/20 season.

Solskjaer’s side will now compete in the the International Champions Cup – a competition which may be their best bet to secure silverware this season.
The Red Devils take on Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan – a side also in a period of transition.

Brazilian midfielder Fred could play some part in the fixture after his Copa America exploits earlier this summer.
New signing James has started both of the club’s pre-season matches this summer and could be rested, with the likes of Chris Smalling, Jesse Lingard and Nemanja Matic expected to come in for the Inter clash.
Greenwood has been outstanding during his two performances on the right, though, and it seems probable that the 17-year-old could keep his spot as Solskjaer considers his team selection for the clash with Chelsea on August 10.
