Both Reims and Lille will be aiming to rediscover their winning touch as the two teams meet at the Stade Auguste Delaune on Friday evening. The hosts have drawn each of their last three league games, sharing the points with Toulouse, PSG and Angers respectively. However, they have lost just once so far this campaign, against Nantes in Week 3, and currently sit fifth in the table.
Lille, meanwhile, have made a miserable start to the season, winning only one of their opening six league matches and managing just two goals. Like Reims, they have lost just the one match so far, but multiple draws and a severe lack of goals are damaging Herve Renard’s side right now. He knows his team needs to start firing soon if they are to avoid losing touch with the league’s early frontrunners.
