Premier League side Southampton hope to finalise the club-record deal to sign Lille attacker Sofiane Boufal today.
Claims last night that the Moroccan international had failed a part of his medical has been denied by sources contacted by GFFN.
It is possible that Boufal undergoes some more complimentary checks this morning ahead of signing a five year contract because the nature of his medical was always due to be lengthy and rigorous owing to his recent knee meniscus operation.
Boufal joins for €24m, including the bonuses which are very likely to be obtained, with a 15% sell-on percentage fee going to Lille.
