Speaking to L’Équipe, OGC Nice midfielder Jean-Michaël Seri discussed his failed move to Barcelona following his side’s 4-0 victory over Ligue 1 champions AS Monaco yesterday afternoon.
“My failed move to Barcelona upset me as a player who has big dreams. But it did not destabilise me. The fact that we have produced this performance shows that we are very strong mentally, that I have forgotten everything and I have turned the page. I really wanted to have a great match and win this derby with my team-mates.”
