RC Strasbourg have today reached an agreement to sign AS Monaco attacker Samuel Grandsir on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old winger has struggled for first team football under Thierry Henry this season; having made just 12 appearances, whilst registering just one assist and without a goal to his name.
The France U-21 international, who began his career at Troyes before moving to the Stade Louis II last year, had been targeted by SM Caen, but it is Thierry Laurey’s side who have sealed his services on a deal that not include an option to buy.
Grandsir will be hoping for more regular playing time at the Stade de la Meinau to reignite his career progression in Ligue 1.
