CHERRY HILL, NJ — A Cherry Hill man accused of killing his ex-wife was found guilty of murder.
A jury convicted Philip Puche of first-degree murder Wednesday in the fatal stabbing of Nancy Kenny. He was also found guilty of second-degree burglary and third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, following a three-week trial.
Puche, 76, will face life in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for May 17.

In July 2020, Puche stabbed Kenny outside of the home she shared with her new husband in Audubon Park, officials said. Authorities brought Kenny to Cooper University Hospital for emergency surgery after she suffered multiple lacerations to her head and neck.
Puche was arrested that day and held in the Camden County Correctional Facility.

Kenny, 63, succumbed to her injuries in March 2021. Her death was ruled a homicide caused by complications of multiple incised wounds to her head and neck.
Kenny worked with children in special education in the Cherry Hill School District, according to her obituary.
