Swiss side Servette have agreed a deal to sign 25-year-old left-back Arial Mendy from newly-promoted to Ligue 1 side RC Lens, according to France Football.
Despite having held talks with Ligue 2 side AC Ajaccio earlier this window, he is now expected to join the Swiss club barring an exceptional u-turn in events. Servette finished 4th the Swiss 1st division last season.
Mendy is a product of the prestigious Diambars academy in Senegal and has been told that he is surplus to requirements by RC Lens manager Frank Haise.
Under contract with RCL until June 2021, the Senegalese player joined Lens in 2018.
