TEMECULA, CA — Temecula City Manager Aaron Adams is slated to get a 4.4% cost of living increase that will bring his annual base salary to $348,951.55.
During the Feb. 27 City Council meeting, Adams’ employment contract is expected to be updated. In addition to the increase, the council will decide whether to allow for future automatic cost of living adjustments for Adams without its approval. The council will also decide whether to adjust the dates on his deferred compensation plan, and whether to extend the employment agreement to Jan. 10, 2027.
Adams is not the only one at City Hall up for a raise. During Tuesday’s meeting, City Council will consider approving the 4.4% cost of living increase for all city employees. If OK’d, the increase takes effect July 1.
