Montpellier have tonight announced the sale of Gaëtan Laborde to Rennes on a permanent deal, with the Mont-de-Marsan native leaving the club after three prolific seasons.
The 27-year-old joins the Brittany club on a four-year deal, and will now play in European competition during the club’s Conference League campaign.
Laborde has previously played for Bordeaux, where he came through the youth academy, and undertook loan spells at Red Star, Clermont and Brest.
