WWE has officially sorted out its Women's Championship situation.
The Raw and SmackDown Women's Championships are both no longer in existence. Three days after Asuka was presented with a new title on SmackDown, Rhea Ripley got her new belt on last night's episode of Raw. Ripley's new title is called the Women's World Championship and has a similar design to Seth Rollins' title belt.
The title presentation segment served another purpose: setting up Cody Rhodes vs. Dominik Mysterio for Money in the Bank. Rhodes interrupted Ripley & Dominik and challenged Dominik to a match at the pay-per-view. After some deliberation, Ripley informed Rhodes that Dominik accepts his challenge.
The Miz tried to launch a sneak attack on Rhodes, but Rhodes caught him and sent him over the top rope. Dominik used that opportunity to give Rhodes a cheap shot and run away.
It was also a big night for the other members of Judgment Day. WWE confirmed that Finn Balor will challenge Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank. Damian Priest will be part of the men's Money in the Bank ladder match at the July 1 PPV. Priest earned the final spot in the match by defeating Matt Riddle last night.
