According to Le Parisien, Mauro Icardi has been left out of Paris Saint Germain’s squad for the Champions League – which needed to be finalised 48 hours before the opening group fixture, where the Parisian side will play Juventus on Tuesday at the Parc des Princes.
With the transfer window in Turkey still open until the 8th September, Icardi is still hoping to make a move away from the club, having been in talks with Galatasary over a move. Failing that, the Argentine would still be able to move to either Portugal or Qatar, whose windows close on the 22 September.
Icardi is the last of PSG’s list of ‘undesirable’ players, who is certain not to feature in Christophe Galtier and Luís Campos’ plans this season.
