Chris Jericho took to social media to honor a longtime friend this week.
On Saturday morning, Jericho took to Instagram to pay tribute to Tiger Hattori, a referee that he has worked with a lot throughout his career.
Jericho noted that he worked with the veteran referee, who has worked for such promotions as New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) and the original National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), along with friends he had early in his career such as Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit.

“Congrats to my old friend Tiger Hattori for working his last Tokyo Dome show last night,” wrote Jericho. “Tiger is one of the most genuine and best people I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with and my times shared with him and so many great brothers, including #EddieGuerrero, #ChrisBenoit, #DocDean & #BlackCat, will never be forgotten.”
Jericho concluded, “Kanpai Tiger! @njpw1972.”
