Manchester United vs Arsenal is the only Premier League fixture left of gameweek seven.
Liverpool and Manchester City recorded vital wins at Sheffield United and Everton, respectively, while Leicester thrashed struggling Newcastle.
Elsewhere, Tottenham had to play the majority of their 2-1 win over Southampton with ten men after Serge Aurier was sent off for two bookable offences.
But, who stood out over the weekend? talkSPORT.com’s Team of the Weekend is below.
Goalkeeper: Rui Patricio (Wolves)
Patricio kept a first clean since the opening day of the season in Wolves’ 2-0 win over Watford.
The Portuguese stopper made five saves to keep Watford out and give his side a first victory of the Premier League campaign.
Right-back: Ricardo Pereira (Leicester)
Pereira opened the scoring in Leicester’s 5-0 thrashing of Newcastle as he was a constant menace down the Magpies’ left side.
It was the full-back’s second goal in as many games after netting against Tottenham last weekend.
Centre-back: Fikayo Tomori (Chelsea)
Tomori’s fine start to the season continued in Chelsea’s 2-0 win over Brighton.
The 21-year-old started his fourth successive game for the Blues and kept Brighton’s Neal Maupay quiet.
Centre-back: Gary Cahill (Crystal Palace)
It only seemed like a matter of time before Cahill was snapped up by a Premier League club following his release from Chelsea.
Roy Hodgson worked with the veteran defender during his time in charge of the England national team, and was reunited with him over the summer.
Cahill has become a leader at the back for Palace in a short amount of time and ensured Teemu Pukki was kept off the scoresheet for Norwich in a 2-0 victory against the newly-promoted side.
Left-back: Andy Robertson (Liverpool)
Robertson conceded a penalty in Liverpool’s 2-0 defeat to Napoli earlier this month, which led to him deleting his Twitter account following fan abuse.
But he has bounced back in style, registering an assist against Chelsea last weekend and helping Liverpool keep a clean sheet at Sheffield United.
More notably, Robertson provided a crucial block to deny John Fleck in the second-half of a 1-0 win over the Blades.
Right wing: Andriy Yarmolenko (West Ham)
Yarmolenko continued his red-hot form by scoring his third goal in six Premier League games in a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.
The Ukraine international is seamlessly filling the void left by Marko Arnautovic, who joined Chinese Super League club Shanghai SIPG in July.
Central midfield: Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City)
De Bruyne registered his eighth assist in just seven games in Manchester City’s 3-1 win at Everton.
The playmaker’s inviting cross was headed in by Gabriel Jesus, who set City on their way to a crucial three points.
De Bruyne is one of the Premier League’s most in-form players at the moment.

Central midfield: John McGinn (Aston Villa)
Eyebrows were raised when McGinn was linked with a £50million move to Manchester United during the summer transfer window.
But he is proving to be a top Premier League performer with Villa so far.
McGinn netted his third goal of the season in a 2-2 draw with Burnley – and his strike would have been the winning goal had Chris Wood not equalised nine minutes from time.
Left wing: Raheem Sterling (Manchester City)
Sterling looks set to challenge City team-mate Sergio Aguero to the Premier League golden boot after scoring his sixth goal of the campaign at Everton.
The England star put the game to bed by scoring his side’s third goal to keep the pressure on league leaders Liverpool.
Sterling terrorised Seamus Coleman for large parts of the contest, too.
Striker: Harry Kane (Tottenham)
Tottenham’s backs were against the wall after Hugo Lloris had gifted Southampton an equaliser after being dispossessed by Danny Ings.
Spurs were already down to ten men following Aurier’s 31st-minute dismissal, however, Kane stepped up when his team needed him most by clinically scoring the winning goal just before half-time to alleviate the pressure on Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Striker: Jamie Vardy (Leicester)
Vardy took full advantage of a red card to Newcastle’s Isaac Hayden by netting a second-half brace.
The 32-year-old has scored a whopping 14 goals in 17 games under Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers.
Vardy has helped lead Leicester to third in the Premier League after seven games.
