Stormy Daniels’s marriage has been struck by lighting.
Almost two weeks after the porn star, whose given name is Stephanie Clifford, was arrested at an Ohio strip club and told police she was no longer married, her lawyer Michael Avenatti took to Twitter to confirm that she and her husband, Glendon Crain, are officially separating.
“My client Stormy Daniels and her husband Glen have decided to end their marriage,” wrote Avenatti. “A petition for divorce was filed last week, the accuracy of which is vehemently disputed. Stormy’s daughter remains her number one priority. She kindly asks for privacy for the sake of her family.”
According to the Washington Examiner, Crain filed for divorce on July 18 in Kaufman County, Texas; he is also asking for a temporary restraining order against Daniels. The couple reportedly got married in 2015, but haven’t been seen together since Daniels’s claim that she was allegedly paid off to keep mum after having an affair with President Donald Trump in 2006. In addition to being involved in the adult film industry, Crain is reportedly also a heavy metal drummer.

Daniels, 39, was arrested earlier this month and accused of illegally rubbing her breasts against the faces of undercover police officers during a performance at an Ohio strip club. She was released on $6,000 bail and prosecutors eventually dropped the charges against her. Prosecutors said the Ohio law that prohibits strippers from touching customers only applies to those who “regularly” perform at a club, and this was Daniels’s first time at Sirens in Columbus.
