The transfer window for Premier League clubs may have shut last Thursday but that does not mean an end to some big summer transfers.
European clubs have a much longer period to sign players and means they can still complete transfers for players currently in England.
Most leagues’ deadlines runs until September 2 although in Italy the window ends on August 23.
A number of top Premier League stars could still be targeted despite the deadline in England passing.
There is also still likely to be some movement between the rest of clubs in Europe’s top leagues.
Here at talkSPORT.com, we have taken a look at the biggest deals that could still be done this summer.
Christian Eriksen
Tottenham are keen for Eriksen to sign a new contract and have reportedly offered him a £200,000-a-week deal.
The playmaker has just one year left on his current contract and they face the prospect of losing him for nothing next summer if he does not sign.
Daniel Levy could be forced to cash in now to avoid that eventuality, which would be a big blow for Mauricio Pochettino.
Real Madrid have been interested in the past while Juventus are already said to be keen on signing him on a free transfer in 2020.
Paul Pogba
The France World Cup winner gave a cryptic answer when asked about his Manchester United future in a recent interview.
“Obviously there have been things said, but only time will tell. This question mark remains,” said Pogba.
“However, I am here in Manchester. I enjoy playing with my team-mates and I always want to win every game. I always give it everything.

“I am always good whenever I play football. It is what I love — it’s my job. I give the maximum each time.”
Teddy Sheringham calls for Manchester United to ditch Paul Pogba
Pogba wants to leave United with Real Madrid the most likely destination. This one could rumble on right until the deadline but the Red Devils are most likely unwilling to sell because they could not sign a replacement.
Neymar
The Brazilian’s return to Barcelona has moved a step closer as officials from Spain have travelled to France to discuss the transfer of the Brazilian, according to reports.
The 27-year-old left the club he could join in a stunning £198million deal back in 2017, but he looks set for a return to LaLiga after telling the French champions he wants to leave.
According to Sky Sports, Camp Nou chiefs are meeting with PSG on Tuesday to discuss a deal for the mercurial wide-man, and the Spanish giants are said to be willing to offer Philippe Coutinho as part of the transfer.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is a known admirer of Neymar and has has frequently attempted to sign the Brazil international in the past.
Philippe Coutinho
Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in taking the Barcelona forward on loan as they continue to look for Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery replacements.
The pair left the Bundesliga club in the summer and they have been scouting for replacements.
Two on their radar have been Callum Hudson-Odoi and Leroy Sane but they failed to get deals over the line.
Bayern have signed Ivan Perisic on loan and Catalan radio station RAC1 claim they are looking to sign Coutinho.
The Brazil international was linked with a move to several Premier League clubs but those fell through before the transfer window closed.
He is running out of options and Barcelona would probably prefer to get him out to facilitate the move for Neymar.
Paulo Dybala
Paris Saint-Germain are now favourites to sign the Juventus forward as they are still believed to be keen on selling him this summer.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim a meeting has been scheduled between agent Jorge Antun and Juve officials to take stock of his future.
PSG are thought to be pressing for the transfer as they look for a replacement for Neymar, who could join either Real Madrid or Barcelona.
Rodrigo
Atletico Madrid’s summer overhaul is not yet completed as they look set to sign Rodrigo from Valencia in a £56million deal, according to Goal.
Diego Simeone’s side have got rid of Antoine Griezmann, Rodri, Lucas Hernandez and Diego Godin this summer.
Kieran Trippier, Joao Felix and Marcos Llorente have joined with forward Rodrigo also set to be their latest addition.
James Rodriguez
Real Madrid have been trying to get rid of the midfielder for some time and reports suggest that they want to use him to try and lure Neymar from PSG.
Le 10 Sport claim Madrid have offered Rodriguez plus £111million to try and sign the Brazil star.
Mauro Icardi
Romelu Lukaku’s signing by Inter Milan means it looks increasingly likely that Icardi will leave the Serie A club.
Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio claims a number of teams have shown interest including Roma, Napoli, Juventus and Monaco.
