Arsenal take on French side Angers tonight as they continue their preparations for the start of the Premier League season.

Unai Emery’s side lost to Lyon in the Emirates Cup over the weekend following Moussa Dembele’s late double.

But the Gunners have performed well in pre-season and will want to produce something near their best against Angers with their top-flight opener now just days away.

Arsenal, who will face Barcelona in the Joan Gamper Trophy on Sunday, make the trip to Newcastle on August 11 to kick off the new campaign.

The pre-season clash will be held on Wednesday, July 31 and will kick-off at 6.30pm UK time.

It will be held at Angers’ home Stade Raymond Kopa in the northwest of France.
