Manchester United will be back in action on Wednesday when they take on Leeds United in their second match of pre-season.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men began their tour of Australia with a straightforward win over Perth Glory thanks to strikes from Marcus Rashford and James Garner.
Summer signing Daniel James, who arrived from Swansea for £15million, played the first half and showed flashes of quality in his time on the pitch at Optus Stadium.
Starting out wide on the left, the Welshman was never afraid to dribble at his marker and sent in several teasing crosses too.
Fellow new boy Aaron Wan-Bissaka had to wait his turn, but played after the break and looked equally comfortable and unfazed on his first appearance for United.

Academy graduate Axel Tuanzebe featured for the first time since returning from a loan spell at Aston Villa, while 17-year-old Mason Greenwood turned in a energetic display.
The only concern for Solskjaer would have been to see Luke Shaw limp off during the match, however, the England left-back was able to take part in training with his team-mates on Monday.
Lee Grant, Eric Bailly, Victor Lindelof and Romelu Lukaku all watched from the stands and were not risked due to what the manager described as having ‘niggles’.
Solskjaer used 23 players in total, with a new team in either half, only David de Gea remained on the bench throughout.
It has been eight years since United took on Leeds, the two sides meeting in a League Cup third round match in 2011 at Elland Road. That night two goals from Michael Owen and a Ryan Giggs strike secured a 3-0 victory.
