Eden Hazard has returned to Chelsea, but only to visit the club’s Foundation Academy during his summer break.

The 28-year-old agreed a much anticipated move to Real Madrid for a fee believed to be around £88million, which could rise to £130million due to add-ons, earlier this month.

Just 20 days after his switch to the Spanish capital, the Belgian, who is on holiday in Greece, made the brilliant gesture by paying a Blues’ youth team a visit at the Sani Resort.

Having spent seven years at Chelsea after joining from Lille in 2012, Hazard penned a open letter to Blues supporters and said the move was the toughest decision in his career.

“It’s no secret that it was my dream to play for them since I was a young boy just scoring my first goal,” said Hazard in a Facebook post.

“Now the clubs have reached an agreement I hope you understand I had to pursue my next chapter, just as each and every one of you should when you have the chance to pursue your dreams.

“Leaving Chelsea is the biggest and toughest decision in my career to date.

“I have loved every moment at Chelsea and not once did I ever consider, nor would I have left for, any other club.”
